Indices

Stock market me "indices" (index ka plural) aise indicators hote hain jo market ke kisi specific segment ya overall market ki performance ko track karte hain. Indices ka use market ki overall health aur trend ko samajhne ke liye kiya jata hai.

### Indices ka matlab:

Stock indices ek group of stocks ki average performance ko represent karte hain. Jaise agar Nifty 50 ya Sensex upar ja rahe hain, toh iska matlab hai ki unme included companies ki overall performance achi hai.

### Pramukh Stock Market Indices:

1. **Sensex**: BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) ka index hai jo top 30 companies ki performance track karta hai.

2. **Nifty 50**: NSE (National Stock Exchange) ka index hai jo top 50 companies ko include karta hai.

### Indices ke fayde:

- Investors ko yeh decision lene me madad milti hai ki market me kab invest karna chahiye.

- Portfolio performance ko compare karne ke liye benchmark provide karta hai.

### Index ka calculation:

Index calculation ek fixed formula ke through hota hai jo selected stocks ke prices ko consider karta hai. Is calculation me stocks ko unki market capitalization ke hisaab se weightage di jati hai.

Samajhne ke liye, indices market ke "thermometer" ki tarah kaam karte hain jo batate hain ki market garam (bullish) hai ya thanda (bearish).
